Every year during the November/December school holidays, Petrosains conducts a 3-week Teacher Fellowship Program. With 9 years history now behind it and 42 alumni, the TFP invites selected secondary, primary and preschool teachers to spend three weeks at Petrosains developing classroom activities, exchanging ideas and immersing themselves in the rich world of hands-on, informal science.

The Petrosains Teacher Fellowship Program, which is held in partnership with the curriculum Division of the MoE, provides a rich laboratory for experimentation with materials, strategies and pedagogical approaches to complement and enhance the formal science teaching that occurs in schools. Leveraging on the input we have carefully captured and analyzed during thousands of hours of experience, the Petrosains teacher professional development staff have evolved an expanding repertoire of stimulating, practical activities that our TFP alumni have found useful.
