1. How do I become a member?

Please visit our Membership Counter at Petrosains, Level 4, Suria KLCC to register as a member. Just complete the Membership Form and submit it together with the payment at the Membership Counter.

2. What are the Membership benefits and privileges that I can look forward to?

As a Petrosains Member, you would enjoy these exclusive benefits and discounts:-

• Unlimited visits to Petrosains’ main exhibition area for one whole year
• FREE general admission to more than 300 participating science centres and museums worldwide under the Association of Science - Technology Centers (ASTC) Passport Programme. Please refer to ASTC for more information
• Discounts on special events and programmes
• Invitations to member previews or special promotions
• 15% Member’s discount at XPLORASI-Petrosains Gift Shop

4. How do I pay for the Membership fee?

Payment must be made via cash or Credit/ Charge Card and must be made in full upon registration of the membership.

5. Can my sister use my membership card to enjoy the benefits?

The membership is non-transferable and non-refundable.

6. Do I need to present my membership card to enjoy the benefits?

Yes, you have to present your membership card at the ticketing counter to get the free entry pass for every visit and to enjoy the other benefits.

Petrosains has the right to reject/refuse your entry if there is no proof of membership. Upon request, you may be required to provide your identification card for verification purposes.

7. Do I need to make booking/reservation for admission into Petrosains?

Petrosains operates on a time-ticketing system and admission is subject to availability of tickets. Please make a reservation by calling our info/booking line at to avoid disappointment.

8. I would like to change my Individual Membership to Family Membership. Is it possible to do that?

Yes, it is possible to upgrade your Individual Membership to Family Membership. However, the difference in fee plus a processing fee of RM5 per change will be chargeable.

For change of category from Family Membership to Individual Membership, there will be no refund. The expiry date of your new membership will remain as per previous membership type.

9. How long will my Petrosains Membership be valid?

All membership types are valid for one (1) year from the date of application.

10. I am married with 2 children and intend to apply for the Family Membership. However, can my wife use the Membership card to bring my children to Petrosains even when I’m not around?

For Family Membership, only one card will be issued per family and only the main applicant’s name will appear on the card.

Even when the main member is not around, your family may still use the card to enjoy the benefits provided their names have been registered as members earlier.

To enjoy the benefits, any of your registered family members just need to present the membership card at Petrosains.

11. I’ve registered for the Family Membership and I plan to bring my own family plus a family friend who is not a member. How much do I have to pay for the admission tickets?

Members enjoy unlimited free visits to Petrosains’ main exhibition area. In this case, you only need to pay for one(1) admission ticket. The admission rates are as follows:-

• Adult: RM12
• Youth: RM7
• Child: RM4

12. I am already a member and would like to visit both the Science Centre and DinoTrek 2. Do I get FREE admission into both?
Members enjoy unlimited free visits to Petrosains’ main exhibition area.

Admission into DinoTrek 2 will be chargeable as per normal rates:-

• Adult/Youth: RM6

• Child: RM3
