1. Tinkering @ Inno Lab
Calling all students, youths and families – come join our Brown Bag Challenge at Petrosains this holiday season! Every day, we have different fun-filled activities (and brown bags!) for everyone aged 8 and above. Grab a bag and start tinkering with the items you find inside it to complete the challenge given. Work alone or in a group – you get to choose! Come make, build and create with us at Innovation Lab!

2. Coding for Beginners
Who says coding needs to be difficult and intimidating? At Petrosains – The Discovery Center, we’ll provide a step-by-step guide to using Arduino, an open-source software, to make LED traffic lights. Come explore Scratch, a free programming language developed by MIT Media Lab, to program your own interactive game. Take as much time as you need. No experience necessary! Our activities are designed for students, youths and families with interest in basic coding. Join us at Innovation Lab from 15-21 December, 2016!

3. Special Showcase – Makey Makey
Imagine playing a musical instrument…made out of fruits? With Makey Makey, you can play beautiful music using bananas and carrots as piano keys. Turn everyday objects into touchpads and combine them with the internet. This online invention kit also allows you to play Pacman using various conductive materials, ranging from lemons to aluminium foil. Come experience this exciting invention! Make your way to Innovation Lab, Petrosains, from 15-21 December, 2016!
