Petrosains Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned subsidiary of PETRONAS, that manages the visit operations of the world renowned PETRONAS Twin Towers and the interactive science centre, Petrosains, The Discovery Centre. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, these two distinctive institutions play a significant role in providing the world with a unique view of the progress of the nation through the vantage point of tourism and informal learning. Job Vacancy
1. Marketing Supervisor (Advertising & Promotions)
Responsibilities:
Supervise and implement the Advertising & Promotions plans and needs of Petrosains and its Outreach initiative according to the marketing and communication strategy in order to position and promote Petrosains as a leading brand and reputable science centre in the nation.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mass Communication/Marketing/Advertising/Public Relation or equivalent.
- 3 – 4 years working experience, preferably in Advertising, Events Management or secretarial work.
- Effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Must have an eye for details and problem solving.
- Proficient in English and BM. Knowledge in Mandarin/Cantonese is an added advantage.
2. Marketing Assistant (Advertising & Promotions)
Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring and organising all Advertising and Promotional campaigns of Petrosains and its Outreach initiatives whilst handling and implementing the procurement process for Marketing Department to ensure all agreed objectives for the campaigns are achieved.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mass Communication/Marketing/Advertising/Public Relation or equivalent.
- Experienced in SAP system, Advertising, Events Management and secretarial work are added advantages
3. Outreach Assistant
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing and implement outreach programs and operations with the aim to promote the Petrosains’ mission of stimulating learning in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic (STEM) through engaging and impactful educational experiences with exhibitions and programs across Malaysia. Contribute to maintaining, developing and maximising departmental capabilities to add value to the company’s CSR/CSI efforts nationwide.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in any science discipline/ engineering/ science communication/ education.
- Experience in science centre industry is an added advantage.
- Has appropriate skills in working as a member of a team to dynamically represent Petrosains in a wide range of circumstances.
- Able to learn and adapt to changes of working environment and situations and able to facilitate with enthusiasm and credibility.
- Able to work together with an innovative, creative successful team to project science excitingly to a wide spectrum of audiences.
