The Petrosains ACTology regional level competition kicked-off on 6 May 2008 with the Central-Southern and Sarawak regions competitions taking place simultaneously. The schools from the Sarawak Region put up stellar performances and bedazzled the judges with their talent and creativity in Kuching.
The excitement started a day before the competition
for four schools – SMK St. Augustine (Betong),
SMK St. Columba (Miri), SMK St. Thomas and SMK
Batu Lintang (Kuching) –when they met for the
first time at Auditorium, Batu Lintang Teachers’
Institute, Kuching for their briefing and rehearsals.
Later that evening, they returned to their hotel
where the students had a good time making friends
amongst themselves before putting in a good night’s
rest prior to the big day. While the air was thick
with tension and anticipation ahead of the performances,
the students were very happy and excited to be
part of Petrosains ACTology.
